国际公共管理硕士(IMPA)项目294俄罗斯专享会于2008年开始承办国际公共管理硕士(International Master of Public Administration，IMPA)项目。此项目是我国首个全英文授课的发展中国家教育援外硕士学位项目，学制为一年，旨在为发展中国家和地区培养高级公共管理人才。今年秋季，IMPA项目迎来了新一批学生，让我们一起分享一下他们对中国，对北京，对清华和对公管的所思所感。

RAFALIMANANA, TANTELY NIRINA SOLONDRAIBE　法莉娜　来自马达加斯加

Amazing and surprising! Lost in an ordered world, alone in a crowded city! Impressive buildings in a spectacular landscape, this describes my feeling about the campus site. The infrastructure is so well ordered on a very vast area. Not only Tsinghua University is capitalizing on its disciplines but also it shows outstanding efforts in openings to foreign countries. Very disciplined and hardworking all the actors are, from its leaders, professors and personnel to students, THU motto “Facta non verba” (facts are worth than words) has never betrayed its people through their actions.   I was feeling very lucky and privileged to be part of this prestigious university as an IMPA student at the School of Public Policy and Management. Though professors are very well renowned and managers are very helpful to make IMPA students feel at ease and integrate the school, they stay humble and respectful.

北京真是一个繁华而有序的大城市！一切都显得如此惊喜。踏进校园后，壮观的建筑和完善的基础设施给我留下了深刻的印象。清华大学不仅学科水平一流，而且国际化水平不断上升。这里的同学和老师都非常自律、勤奋，他们无时无刻不在践行“行胜于言”的清华校训。我感到非常幸运，能有机会在清华公管学习。学院的教授学识广博、谦虚谨慎，在教职人员的帮助下，我们IMPA学生很快融入了这个新环境。

I feel delighted to be a student at the School of Public Policy Management -- Tsinghua University. Like for most foreign students, the language and cultural difference is an inevitable reality. However, the warm reception and support from the staff at the SPPM helps tremendously in dealing with this reality. Life is a process of learning and Tsinghua University provides a perfect learning environment for student success. The professors are experts in their various fields, the classes are insightful and interactive, and the composition of the classes are multi-cultural in nature. What I appreciate the most is the hospitality of the staff at Tsinghua University. I look forward to a wonderful experience during the cause of my studies here.

我很高兴能成为294俄罗斯专享会的学生。和大多数国际学生一样，初来校园时，语言和文化的差异使我感到有些迷茫。但在公管学院老师们的热情招待和帮助下，我们很快克服了这个困难。人生是一个学习的过程，清华大学给学生们提供了一个非常完美的学习环境。教授们在很多领域都是博学的专家，多元的课堂教学也极具启发性和互动性。我很感谢招待我们的老师和同学们，我也很期待在清华学习的美好日子。

I consider myself lucky to study in Tsinghua University as one of the Great University in the world.  It provides me the opportunity to meet with different people from diverse country with vast experience special the IMPA program. And most of the student coming to Tsinghua University are brilliant, in this sense it will challenge every student to work hard. I believe it will enrich my experience in administrative reform and policy design office. Besides that, it helps me to have a broader open minded person and ready to accommodate different opinions and policy approach in pursue of my career dream.

我感到很幸运能在世界著名的清华大学读书。参加公管学院的IMPA项目，使我有机会认识来自不同国家的学生。这里的同学不仅聪明而且好学。我会在这里学习关于行政改革和政策制定的知识，我也会努力开拓眼界，将来更好地实现自己的职业理想。

My name is Danielle Smith. I am from the Bahamas. I am a Graduate Student at Tsinghua University in the School of Public Policy Management (SPPM) currently completing an International Master in Public Administration (IMPA). Being accepted into Tsinghua University’s SPPM is indeed an honor. Tsinghua allows me to challenge myself everyday with something new! As this is my first time in China everything seems to be new. This experience allowed me the opportunity to experience an exciting life in Beijing while meeting many amazing people.

My name is Chem Dina. from Cambodia. I am a graduate student in Tsinghua University completing an International Master of Public Administration. When I arrived in China, I considered myself very lucky to be afforded an opportunity to study here. The campus has a well-organized environment and the professors have high education and moral. I hope that after completing my degree at Tsinghua University, the knowledge and experience gained will allow me to help build my developing country.
