Brantly Womack is Cumming Memorial Professor of Foreign Affairs at Virginia University. Most of his work has been on Chinese and Vietnamese national and international politics, among which his remarkable studies in Mao's political thought have great academic influence in China. Several chapters of his book "Foundations of Mao Zedong's Political Thought" are published full-text on the People's Daily website. He is also honorary professor of Sun Yat-sen University, Jilin University and East China Normal University.

 

布兰德利.沃马克目前为弗吉尼亚大学政治科学系讲座教授。沃马克教授学术研究领域广泛，主要包括当代中国政治、两岸关系以及越南国内政治改革等。其中，沃马克教授对毛泽东思想的研究在中国学术界有较大影响力。主要著作有：《毛泽东政治思想的基础》（部分章节翻译版本转载于《人民日报》网站）、《中国政治》、《中国与越南》等。沃马克教授同时也担任中山大学、吉林大学、华东师范大学等大学的荣誉教授。
