Mr Hu Changdao, our school's senior development consultant, together with Ms Liu from the World Bank, gave a lecture to the MPA-E 2006 students on the subject of international organization and development. The lecture covered many areas of development practice, examining the role of international organizations such as the World Bank, their relation with the global economy, the role of and the UN Millennium Development Goals. With reference to development objectives set out in 1990, the class examined in-depth the target set fourth for 2015 and there were many heated discussions about , Africa and global poverty raised by students.
