On May 22, 15 IMPA 2014 students and 2 exchange students visited Summer Palace. This trip enables students to witness the beauty of the ancient building in Qing Royal Dynasty and through which they could learn more about China’s history.
The tour started from the East Gate of the Palace. Then students walked past the Hall of Benevolence and Longevity, Wenchang Gallery, Yulan Gallery, and then reached Kunming Lake.
When they approached Kunming Lake, all were impressed by the beautiful scenery and kept taking photos. Some of them also enjoyed taking pictures with local tourists around. Later on, the group walked through the Long Corridor, with amazement by the pictures on the decorations.
Students have expressed that this trip is very interesting and full of fun. They all enjoy it and hope that they could know more about the traditional culture in China.
