On June 12, 2014, the MID-IMPA office organized a picnic at the Lovers’ Hill of Tsinghua campus, marking the end of all student activities for the Spring semester. Nearly 40 students from the SPPM school were gathered at the picnic. They played badminton and other games, danced and sang on the grass, coming together in celebration of the beginning of summer. Several students were especially fond of the scenic view of the famous Lovers’ Hill, mentioning how wonderfully their time with their peers was spent. As the courses enter the final stages and the summer thesis defense schedule finishes up, the picnic was a relaxing event, to reenergize students to finish off the semester strong before beginning the new chapter that awaits.
