Lecture Synopsis:
In January 2018, the School of Public Affairs created a mandatory Management workshop for the students who followed the apprenticeship track. This workshop was designed to help them reflect on their current experience as apprentices and prepare them to enter the work market. Over the course of 12 sessions, they cover topics such as: organization culture, project management, managerial behaviors, conflict management, recruitment, negotiation, etc. Ms. Braescu-Kerlan will reflect on the teachings of such a class and more generally on the need to professionnally orient our students at a key moment of their careers.
