Bio of Speaker:
Mr. CAO Guozhong studied in the English program from 1985 to 1989 at Beijing Foreign Studies University. In 1989-1991 he attended the United Nations Interpreter and Translator Training class and was awarded the Master's degree. After graduation, he worked in the field of international communication for nearly nine years. He was the consultant for Mr. LIU Qi who was Mayor of Beijing to host the first Beijing Mayor International Entrepreneur Advisory Council. He was responsible for external communication and recruitment. As a key judge, he interviewed dozens of Master and PHD students from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China , Beijing Foreign Studies University, University of International Business and Economics. He has been a translator at the United Nations since March, 2000. Mr. Cao is interested in philosophy and history, and follows closely domestic and international news and events. In this lecture, he will discuss with students how to make use of experience at Tsinghua University and will introduce Chinese cultural values and international organization values.
