Bio of Speakers:
Zhang Nan is an assistant professor at the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2008 and conducted post-doctor research in the university during 2008-2011. Dr. Zhang also has been visiting scholar at RWTH Aachen University in Germany in 2008. His research interests focus on Electronic Government & Networking Governance, Development Theory & Planning Methodology of Smarter Cities, Public Big Data & Policy Informatics, etc.
SONG Gang is the Director of Peking University's mGov Lab China, Vice-President of Beijing Science and Technology Association of Urban Management, Vice-President of Beijing Society of Internet of Things, Director of Beijing City Management Science and Technology Information Center, and the part-time professor at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He graduated from Institute of Remote Sensing GIS, Peking University with a PhD degree, and was Chevening Scholars (04/05) of Department of Information Systems, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
