Background:
Commissariat Général à la Stratégie et à la Prospective (CGSP), directly reporting to the Prime Minister of French, corresponds to the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) of China. As requested by President Francois Holland, Mr. Ferry submitted an official report on France’s development in 10 years on this June after a whole year’s preparation. Forecasting future 10 years’ pattern of France, Europe and the world, the Report carries on deep analysis on current issues in France and proposes reform suggestions on different aspects.
From 2004 to 2013, Mr. Ferry was the Director of Bruegel, the Brussels-based economic think tank which is the most influential think tank in Europe. Currently, Mr. Ferry is the Director of CGSP, the Member of the French Prime minister’s consultative Council of Economic Analysis, the Council on International Monetary Reform and many other French and International organizations.
