The mission of the Institute is to conduct theoretical and applied research in the public policy, to offer academic and professional training in policy analysis, and to provide consulting services related to policy analysis and developmental strategies. The Institute employs an interdisciplinary approach in dealing with significant public policy issues, and provides a congenial and stimulating
environment for its faculty and students. The objective of the institute is to become a leading policy research institution in the near future. The institute peruses research agendas in both basic theories and processes of public policy as well as domain-specific policy issues such as science and technology policy, environmental governance, sustainable development, and crisis management.
