The Center for China Studies at SPPM is a joint research center between the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Tsinghua University. Established in January of 2000, it focuses on public policy and development. Led by Prof. Hu Angang, a well-known analyst of China’s Development, the goal of the Center is to become an influential think tank that contributes to the productive discussion regarding China’s economic reform and development. The center’s policy brief series-Reports on China Studies has become one of the best known sources of sound policy analysis in the Chinese government that provide broad, timely, and high quality information and policy recommendations for decision makers.
