Institute of Government has formed a multidisciplinary research team that includes faculty members, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students, who are trained in various disciplines, including economics, administrative law, political science, and public management. Current research in the Institute focuses on theoretical and empirical studies of government management issues, governance innovation, and good governance. Through teaching, joint research, consulting, and executive training, the Institute has established close linkages with various central and local government agencies. The Institute also established the Anti-Corruption Research Center (ACRC) in 2002, China’s first non-governmental research institute on anti-corruption policies. The Center assists China’s ongoing anti-corruption campaign with high quality research on corruption control, corruption prevention, and good governance.
