The Research Center for Investment and Financing Policy at Tsinghua University (THUIFP) is a non-profit academic institution affiliated with Tsinghua University. Formerly known as the Center for Public-Private Partnership at Tsinghua University, THUIFP is housed in the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University and operates under the joint leadership of the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC) and Tsinghua University.

The organizational structure of THUIFP includes the Management Committee, the Director's Office Meeting, the Steering Committee and the Industry Committee.

THUIFP adheres to the high-level, open and forward-looking development orientation, coordinates research on investment and financing models and policies, such as Public-Private Partnership (PPP), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) in infrastructure, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects of investment projects, and investment and financing cooperation matchmaking. The center promotes discipline construction and the cultivation of professional talents, and enhances international cooperation and exchanges. It is committed to establishing itself as a high-level comprehensive investment and financing policy research institution, a national-level professional think-tank in the field of investment and financing, a high-end talent training base, and an international exchange center.

Missions of THUIFP :

1.To integrate theories and practice, conduct cutting-edge research on theoretical and practical issues in the field of investment and financing policy, and contribute valuable research insights and expertise.

2.To train doctoral, master's and postdoctoral candidates in the field of investment and financing policy; to offer courses on investment and financing policies, and to promote discipline construction in the field of investment and financing policies.

3.To undertake research tasks entrusted by the relevant national ministries and local governments, and provide advisory services for national and local governments in formulating policies and regulations about investment and financing.

4.To support the organization of branded forums and activities, build an exchange platform among academia, policy and industry sectors, and promote academic exchanges and industry development in the field of investment and financing policy.

5.To provide services for the development of investment and financing industry, and offer advisory services for major investment and financing projects at home and abroad.

6.To actively promote international exchanges and cooperation in the field of investment and financing policy.
