On December 11th, SPPM hosted the Language Partner program at the cafeteria in SPPM where a handful of Chinese and international students attended as the kickstart for this new academic year. During this event, students learned about each other and had meaningful conversation.
With the relaxing atmosphere, students exchanged language learning skills and discussed interesting topics in English and Chinese. Through this cultural exchange and language discussion, students found their partners in learning different languages. This activity was aimed at building a platform among Chinese and international students for them to building long lasting friendship outside the classroom. The language partner program encouraged students to meet up once a week to work out together, watch a movie, do a volunteer activity, and visit Chinese cultural sites. This language partner program is a tradition of SPPM to help Chinese and international students to integrate and become great partners as well as build great Chinese and international students’ relations.
