On the afternoon of March 24, 2016, SPPM international and Chinese students met together at the university canteen for the lunch salon, which was organized by SPPM student union. Over 20 MPA, IMPA and MID students attended this event with the lively and engaging atmosphere.
The event was hosted by Guo Dong, who is from the class of PhD 2014. He explained the background of the event to the students. In the beginning of the activity, participating students introduced among themselves and grouped accordingly into pairs to communicate so that further deepened their understanding between each other. Following the guidance of the host, the students later formed into groups according to various interest topics and enjoyed the lunch together.
The SPPM foreign students’ lunch salon activity aims to promote the intercultural communication between Chinese and foreign students and bridge friendly bilateral relationships.
