MESSAGE:

Hi, I am Andrea Paletti from  School of Public Policy of Tsinghua University. With the support of Tsinghua Red Cross, I am organizing a free first aid course in Tsinghua University completely in English.

Where and When

The course it is completely free. It will start on Saturday 12 of October from 1:30 pm to 5.00 pm(but it might finish before), room 320 SPPM ( School of Public Policy and Management). The class might change basing on how many people we are, so register to the course and I will inform you in case of changes.

Contents

During this course, you will understand how to help an injured and how to react during an emergency. The course is organized in two parts

In the first part of the course we will explain you how to react in case of disaster:

·         Earthquake,

·         Tsunami,

·         Flood,

·         Industrial or nuclear accidents,

·         Terroristic

·         Chemical attack

·         Fire

Then in the second part two Red Cross volunteer instructors will teach you practical maneuvers with a dummy and other important first aid notions such us helping someone who:

·         is having a heart attack

·         is choking

·         is unconscious and breathing

·         is bleeding

·         has a burn or scald

If you are interested, you can register sending me an email with written “Surname_First Aid course registration” to andreapaletti91@gmail.com   .Please send me the registration's email as soon as possible we need to know the precise number of people are going to participate for a matter of organization. Feel free to invite also external friends but let me know.

Please be punctual, it will be a very intensive course, we will start precisely at 1:30 pm.
