On October 12, MID Office organized Great Wall excursion for new students, as the last activity of orientation. 4 new MID students with 14 IMPA and exchange students went to Mutianyu in Huairou District. All climbed the great wall for half a day and then enjoyed the lunch at a local farm.

On October 23, MID Office hosted the MIDialogue on the topic of career development. The program manager, Ms. YANG An’an briefly introduced the MID alumni career information and career service that the program is able to provide. Guest speaker, Professor GAO Yuning, talked about Tsinghua graduate students’ life according to his own experience and also the academia path for those who are interested in applying for a Phd degree after graduation.
