On November 12, SPPM organized a one-day field trip in downtown of Beijing. More than 30 MID and IMPA students visited Dashilanr Commercial Zone and Beijing Planning and Exhibition Hall to learn Beijing's development, in particular the challenges. SPPM’s Associate Dean, Ms. MENG Bo and MID Academic Chair Professor, YIN Chengzhi both participated in the trip.
In the morning, international students first visited a few famous brand stores and restaurants of the old Beijing, like Quanjude Roast Duck. According to their development history, students knew well how those brands survived over one hundred years. In addition, students walked along at the commercial zone to get better understanding of this district's zoning.
