In the evening of December 28, to celebrate Christmas and New Year, SPPM held a party at the “ Space for Imagination ” Café for international students.
More than 30 international students from IMPA 2014, MID 2013 and MID 2014 joined the event. SPPM's Dean XUE Lan, Associated Dean MENG Bo, MID Program Academic Director YIN Chengzhi and the program staff also joined the celebration.
After an intensive study for the whole semester, in particular completing thesis defense for all IMPA 2014, students relaxed a lot and communicated while enjoying the buffet. Soon, stomachs were full, and the party was getting started. After several rounds of games of Guessing Words and Musical Chairs, the happy atmosphere reached its peak!
Dean Xue expressed good wishes for the holiday, followed by the exiting lucky drops. IMPA 2012 Alumus Evelyn sang a Chinese song “Friends” with Elhannah and Jonga for IMPA 2014. After the applause subsided, the DJ filled in the silence with hits, and the rest of the night was danced away. Far away from home, it was a great time for all to dance, play games and sing together in the Christmas season.
