This year we welcomed 32 students from 17 countries to join the IMPA program. To help every student fit in quickly and settle down on the beautiful campus, the office of International Cooperation and Exchange designed an Orientation program before classes started.
(Prof. MENG Bo, Assistant Dean, center, offered a lecture on Cross-Cultural Communication.)
Ms. Meng Bo, Assistant Dean, offered a lecture for both IMPA and MID students on “Cross-Cultural Communication”, and encouraged students to share their cultures and communication styles in various countries. Opportunities were provided for students to get to know the program and academic studies through introductory lectures. Tours were arranged for students to get familiar with Tsinghua campus and university resources such as libraries. Students also toured the Summer Palace to have a glimpse of Chinese culture and history.
(Students participated in the ice-breaking conversation.)
