On the afternoon of October 17th, students of SPPM, including the IMPA, MID and Chinese students were invited to attend International Poverty Reduction Center's International Poverty Reduction and Development Forum, which were held by the Office of Poverty Alleviation of the State Council and the United Nations System in China.  Students attended two panels, "Social Protection as a Means to Poverty Reduction" and "Social Inclusion through Integrated Poverty Reduction Efforts". MID 2011 Class Professor Yuan Zhou led SPPM delegation.
