The School of Public Policy and Management has just celebrated the 16th Anniversary. The school’s mission is to cultivate qualified public administration practitioners, to conduct fundamental and leading academic research in public administration and public policy and to build a renowned think tank that serves the reform and development of our country as well as governance of the world. Inheriting from Tsinghua’s tradition of “Unremitting Self-improvement and Cultivation of Merit and Ethics”, SPPM’s motto of “Cultivating Morality to Serve the Public” has jointly promoted the school to achieve favorable progress in faculty development, teaching, research and discipline building. SPPM has taken a significant step forward on the path of becoming a world-class school of public policy and management in a top tier university. By the late 2016, the school has fostered 176 Ph.D.s, 668 master’s students, 2645 MPA graduates, 508 International program students.
